Overview
This section of the GRC web site is intended to provide information and resources to assist Chairs
with the planning and organizing of a Gordon Conference.
- The Documents and Templates section contains examples of the different types of correspondence
that you will likely send as well as the standard GRC template for your Conference Program and other
information that will be requested of you.
- The Diversity Resources section contains a list of minority serving societies and organizations.
You will also find a link to the Carl Storm Underrepresented Minority Fellowship application. It is hoped
that GRC Chairs will reach out to underrepresented minority groups in an effort to increase the
diversity of the conferees at Gordon Conferences.
- The Special Funding Programs section gives a breakdown of the various GRC-sponsored funding programs and
links to the appropriate forms.
- The Gordon-Kenan Graduate Research Seminars section provides information on the GRS program. Graduate Research Seminars are 2-day meetings for graduate students and post docs that take place before a related GRC. If you would like to hold a GRS in conjuction with your GRC, please refer to the guidelines and application form in this section.
- The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section should answer many of the questions that may
come up. For questions not answered in this section or for clarification of any of the responses,
please contact Ms. Holly Tobin.
