Conference Description
The Gordon Research Seminar on Physical Organic Chemistry will be held June 22st to 23rd at Holderness School, Plymouth, New Hampshire. The 2013 GRS is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other young researchers to present new, cutting edge research and results in a wide range of interdisciplinary fields related to physical organic chemistry, including chemical synthesis, biological and materials science, and theoretical or experimental physical chemistry. Attendees are encouraged to present their latest, unpublished research in a traditional poster session or as a short oral presentation.
The breadth of research covered at this conference is representative of the diversity of physical organic chemistry, and provide attendees a chance to become more familiar with topics covered in the associated Gordon Research Conference. Discussion sessions and oral presentations will include (but are not limited to) topics such as molecular design and synthesis, mechanistic organic and biological chemistry, reactive intermediates, catalysis, supramolecular chemistry, material design, spectroscopy and photochemistry, and computational chemistry.
We’re looking forward to our first GRS, and we hope to see you there!
