Meeting Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Neurobiology of Cognition is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to expose participants to cutting edge research spanning from psychophysics to computational modeling to neurophysiological mechanisms underlying cognitive processes such as memory, learning, attention, or language. Further goals of this meeting are:

  1. To foster interactions between young investigators who share an interest in systems, computational, and cognitive neuroscience.
  2. To complement the Gordon Research Conference with foundational principles of neurobiology by attracting researchers who are utilizing diverse approaches to study some of the GRC’s themes.
  3. To ascertain that the Gordon Research meetings bring together luminaries in the field of neurobiology of cognition and innovative young researchers who will shape the future of the field.
