Nonlinear Science
June 28 - July 3, 2009
Mount Holyoke College
South Hadley, MA
Chair:
Robert P. Behringer

Vice Chair:
Stephen Morris

The 2009 Nonlinear Science Gordon Research Conference features a strongly multi-disciplinary array of invited talks on topics ranging from instabilities, pattern formation and turbulence in simple and complex fluids, to nonlinear dynamics in biological systems on scales from single molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems.

This meeting is designed for a broad group of researchers and advanced students with backgrounds in nonlinear science. The aim of the conference is to promote discussion and to inspire new research stimulated by the presentation of theoretical, experimental, observational, and computational studies of the most exciting topics of current interest in nonlinear science.

The meeting presentations will consist of invited lectures and poster sessions. Graduate students and postdocs are strongly encouraged to apply to attend the meeting, and may also apply for financial support for their attendence.
