Related Meeting Information
The Angiotensin Gordon Research Conference was held in conjunction with the Angiotensin Gordon-Merck Research Seminar. Please refer to the Angiotensin GMRS web page for more information.

The 2012 Gordon Conference on Angiotensin will present cutting-edge unpublished findings on the renin angiotensin system spanning basic science to clinical and translational research. Through morning and evening symposia, the latest discoveries from the disciplines of biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, neuroscience, physiology and human pathophysiology will be featured and amply discussed. Students, fellows, new and established investigators all gather together in a collegial and informal atmosphere where discussions begin over breakfast and continue late into the night through convivial gatherings after the evening sessions. Afternoons are saved for informal get togethers of attendees including whale spotting, vineyard touring and soccer games. Graduate students and early career scientists have the opportunity to present their latest findings as posters and exchange their ideas with distinguished thought leaders throughout the conference. Students and fellows also have the opportunity to compete for short talk presentations given throughout the week. This Conference creates the perfect environment for fostering cross-disciplinary brainstorming and accordingly, has a longstanding record for being the genesis of many national and international collaborations.
