Drinking Water Disinfection By-Products
August 5-10, 2012
Mount Holyoke College
South Hadley, MA

Dear colleagues and friends,

Time is running fast and we are already a few months from the 2012 Gordon Research Conference on Drinking Water Disinfection By-products.

The conference will take place on August 5-10, 2012 at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. The conference will start on the afternoon of Sunday August 5 and departure will be in the morning of Friday August 10.

The aim of the conference will be to have the latest DBP occurrence and formation, treatment, exposure, toxicity, and epidemiology research presented to promote the dialog between chemists, toxicologists, epidemiologists, engineers, and regulators in this area.

In this year’s conference, in addition to research areas discussed in 2009, we are planning to cover more international aspects with a new global clean water session, have a good coverage of new technologies in both the chemical and biomedical areas, and discuss new approaches on the evaluation of the toxicity of mixtures.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the next drinking water DBP Gordon conference in August!

Manolis Kogevinas, MD, PhD and Michael J. Plewa, Ph.D.
Chair and Vice-Chair GRC on Drinking Water Disinfection By-products
