information as possible about each of our conference sites. For more information about a particular site, please select a location from

About the Site
Mount Holyoke is located in South Hadley, Massachusetts just 90 minutes west of Boston and three hours north of New York. Set on 800 acres in the heart of the Connecticut River Valley, the campus includes wooded bridle trails, two small lakes, tennis courts and lovely botanical gardens.

Arrival and Check-In
It is anticipated that attendees will arrive/check-in on Sunday between 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm. Anyone arriving after the GRC office closes at 9:00 pm on Sunday must make alternative housing arrangements.
The Meeting Room and Poster Area
Science Sessions are held in the air-conditioned Gamble Hall.
Poster Sessions and Socials are held in the atrium in Kendade Hall.
On-Site Housing / Facilities
GRC attendees are housed in air-conditioned dormitories on campus. Your twin-sized bed will be made with sheets, blankets, and a pillow. Towels and wash cloths will be provided in your room, and you may obtain fresh towels and linens in the GRC office. All bathrooms are shared with other attendees.
There are 90 single rooms available for GRC attendees at Mount Holyoke College. Accepted applicants have an opportunity to register for a single room on a first come, first served basis. Once all available single rooms have been reserved, you will be required to register for a double (shared) room.
Attendees who wish to stay in the Willits-Hallowell Conference Center on the campus of Mount Holyoke must register as "off-site attendees" and make their own lodging arrangements directly with the Willits-Hallowell Conference Center by calling 413-538-2217.
Dining Area / Meals
All Meals will be served in the air-conditioned Willits-Hallowell Conference Center Dining. Vegetarian entrees are available at all meals and kosher meals are available only if the request is made in advance of the meeting.
Internet, Phone and Computer Access
Residence halls are equipped with wireless Internet connections only (Ethernet ports are not available). There is also a computer room set up in the dormitory with ports and some computers to check email. The library has a computer lab with computers and some ports available and is open daily (M-F) 9 to 4.
Handicapped Accessibility
The site is fully handicapped accessible.
On-Site Recreation
Mount Holyoke's 800-acre campus offers scenic trails for walking and running. The 130,000-square-foot Kendall Sports and Dance Complex includes an eight-lane, 25-meter pool; indoor and outdoor tennis courts; racquetball, squash, basketball, and volleyball courts; indoor and outdoor tracks; grass playing fields, and strength training and cardiovascular fitness equipment.
Other Information
Animals are not permitted on site.
All GRC facilities are smoke free.
