About the Site
Located in Southern Vermont’s Deerfield Valley, this picturesque area is home to the Mount Snow Resort, as well as the valley towns of Dover, Wilmington, and Whitingham. The Mount Snow area is the closest Vermont recreation area to New York (3 1/2 hours), Boston (2 1/2 hours) and Hartford (2 hrs).

Arrival and Check-In
It is anticipated that attendees will arrive/check-in to the Grand Summit Resort Hotel at Mount Snow on Sunday between 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm. If you arrive after 9:00 pm Sunday evening, please check in at the front desk for your room and pick up your badge in the GRC office following breakfast in the morning.
The Meeting Room and Poster Area
The Science Sessions, Poster Sessions and Socials will take place in the Somerset Ballroom located in the Grand Summit Resort Hotel and Conference Center.
On-Site Housing / Facilities
GRC participants are housed in the air conditioned Grand Summit Resort Hotel. All rooms are en-suite and daily housekeeping service is included.
There are 100 single rooms available for GRC attendees at Mount Snow Resort. Accepted applicants have an opportunity to register for a single room on a first come, first served basis. Once all available single rooms have been reserved, you will be required to register for a double (shared) room.
Dining Area / Meals
All meals are served buffet style in the air-conditioned Deerfield Function Rooms. Vegetarian entrees are available at all meals and other dietary restrictions or concerns will be accommodated if advance notice (7 days) is provided.
Internet, Phone and Computer Access
Wireless access is available throughout the facility.
Handicapped Accessibility
The site is handicapped accessible.
On-Site Recreation
The hotel offers a heated pool and hot tubs, sauna, steam room and a fitness center. Spa services are available although additional costs apply.
Hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and fly fishing are some of the outdoor recreational activities locally available. Fields are available for pick up volleyball and soccer games. A local daily shuttle service to Wilmington offers opportunities for shopping and browsing local art galleries.
Other Information
Animals are not permitted on site.
All GRC facilities are smoke free.
