Conference Description

This meeting explores the central role that protein structural mobility plays in biomolecular interactions as well as the dynamics of protein interactions themselves. Bringing together quantitative methodologies and key problems in biology, sessions include (1) Protein Interactions and Disease; (2) Intrinsically unstructured proteins and conformational diversity in complexes; (3) Advances in Physical Methods; (4) Macromolecular Assemblages and Machines; (5) Network Dynamics; (6) Advances in Computational Methods; (7) Single Molecule Biophysics; and (8) Kinetics & Thermodynamics. This conference remains true to the central goal of its founding RASMB meeting: to bring together experts in biophysical methodologies and those in biological problems ripe for quantitative analysis. In addition to invited presenters, speakers will be selected from poster abstracts. The 2010 GRC in Biomolecular Interactions & Methods will continue its strong tradition of encouraging the participation of younger scientists; in addition, we have an accompanying Gordon Research Seminar that we invite students and postdoctoral scientists to attend.

This GRC will be held in conjunction with the "Biomolecular Interactions and Methods" Gordon Research Seminar (GRS).
