Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Cannabinoid Function in the CNS is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and young investigators to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas about the manifold biological actions exerted by the various members of the endocannabinoid signaling system in the central nervous system. The keynote lecture will be delivered by David Nutt, world-renowned leader on drug policies and governance, with emphasis on the use of synthetic and phytocannabinoids.

In addition to outstanding science, this meeting will encompass other critical aspects of a successful scientific career with sessions on "Women in Science" by Gerlind Wallon (EMBO; deputy director), as well as what it takes to publish in Nature Family Journals with Brigitta Gundersen (Senior Editor at Nature Neuroscience).
