The 2022 GRC/GRS on Endothelial Cell Phenotypes in Health and Disease is subtitled “Understanding Endothelial Cell Diversity: Regulation and Regenerative Potential”. The unique feature of this meeting is its focus on the endothelial cell compartment of the vasculature, and the inherent heterogeneity within this compartment, because it is crucial for blood and lymphatic vessel development, function and regeneration. The conference will bring together researchers who study different aspects of blood or lymphatic endothelial cell heterogeneity to better understand fundamental mechanisms of vascular specialization and to determine the role of endothelial cell phenotypes in maintaining health and enabling regeneration. The conference will include scientists who study the molecular regulation of endothelial cell heterogeneity as well as diseases that affect the vasculature, including SARS-CoV2, to catalyze the cross-discipline communication that is necessary to develop effective clinical therapies.
The conference will consist of nine sessions, on the topics listed below.
