Conference Description
The Gordon Research Seminar on Flow & Transport in Permeable Media is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The focus of this meeting is on different approaches to understanding complex mechanical, chemical, and biological couplings between the pore fluid and the solid matrix across all scales; possible topics include theoretical, experimental, and numerical approaches to problems such as geomechanics, hydraulic fracture, erosion, and biofilm growth. The program also includes a panel discussion among young scientists and engineers pursuing a variety of post-PhD career tracks.
