Conference Description
The Gordon Research Seminar on Hydrogen-Metal Systems is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The scientific focus of the 4th Gordon Research Seminar on Hydrogen-Metal
Systems will cover both fundamental aspects of materials science, chemistry
and physics as well as engineering concepts for practical applications.
Fundamental science topics include reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics,
electrochemical properties, structural properties, numerical studies and
characterisation methods in relation to new compounds for hydrogen-metal systems.
On the practical side, themes include hydrogen storage, thermal storage,
battery technologies, sensors, catalysis and overall system development. Additionally,
there will be a mentoring session with a particular focus on early scientific
career development.
