The Gordon Research Seminar on Liquid Biopsy for Cancer is a unique forum for students, postdoctoral fellows and other early career scientists to present unpublished data and discuss innovative ideas in a welcoming and highly interactive environment.
The focus of this meeting is on cutting edge advances in research and technologies interrogating biological fluids for the detection and monitoring of tumours. Researchers will be encouraged to share groundbreaking discoveries, discuss ongoing challenges, and establish collaborations. Through career-oriented presentations and discussions, this GRS will also provide valuable career advice from researchers both within and outside academia.
In order to promote a multidisciplinary meeting, we encourage submissions spanning a wide range of tumour research, incorporating a plethora of techniques to study circulating tumour cells, ctDNA, extracellular vesicles and other biological fluid components.
The seminar will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The seminar chair will select speakers from abstracts submitted by May 4, 2018. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster. In order to participate, you must submit an application by the date indicated in the Application Information section above.
