Conference Description
The Medicinal Chemistry GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The focus of this workshop is building an understanding of foundational principles and strategies that can be applied by medicinal chemists in the pursuit of novel drugs. New concepts and technologies will be presented with examples of successful application to lead generation, optimization, and drug discovery. This seminar is organized in a workshop format, allowing for close interaction between practicing medicinal chemists and participants. Interactive sessions will query participants knowledge of learned concepts and allow them to share their work in poster format
