The Organic Reactions and Processes Gordon Research Conference in 2013 will celebrate 60 years of exploring the latest developments in synthetic organic chemistry. In keeping with its considerable history, this conference will bring together a diverse group of industrial, academic, and student scientists to discuss the state of the art in the synthesis of complex organic molecules, reaction mechanism, reaction design and catalysis. The 2013 Organic Reactions and Processes GRC in particular will devote a session to the chemistry at the interface with biology. The session will focus on the discovery of new mechanisms and the development of new reactions in the context of selective synthesis and modification of large biologically relevant proteins.

The 2013 Organic Reactions and Processes GRC will also continue its tradition of hosting vibrant and interactive poster sessions and attendees are strongly encouraged to submit a poster abstract at the time of their application. A subset of the posters will be selected to present short oral talks on Thursday morning.

A globally diverse selection of speakers will convene July 15-20, 2012 at Bryant University, located in rural northwestern Rhode Island, conveniently located near Providence and Boston airports.
