This meeting will focus on Polymer Physics and how it relates to and enables solutions to the most pressing societal problems of this time. Thus understanding the fundamentals of charged systems, nanocomposites, cross linked materials and block copolymers and their flow response will allow us to address pressing questions in gas and ion separations and water purification, in the creation of sustainable polymer technologies and towards understanding the origins of life.
The conference will consist of nine sessions, on the topics listed below. The conference chair is currently developing their preliminary program, which will include the names of the invited speakers and discussion leaders for each of these sessions. The preliminary program will be available by October 15, 2019. Please check back for updates.
- Block Copolymer Quasicrystals
- Multiscale Modeling and Big Data
- Coacervates and Origins of Life
- Charged Systems
- Polymer Membranes
- Rheological Behavior
- Reconfigurable Polymers and Sustainability
