Conference Description

The Single Molecule Approaches to Biology GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.

At the core of this event lies the objective of nurturing dynamic idea exchange of the latest advances in single-molecule technologies across the entire field, their applications and their complementarity with other scientific approaches. This seminar specifically seeks to foster discourse on recent and unpublished findings, within an atmosphere that is open, inclusive and intellectually stimulating. The seminar will encompass the entire spectrum of single-molecule biophysics, with a focus on advances within the field and applications to biology and beyond.
