Citizens of a Visa Waiver Program country travelling to the USA must now possess a machine readable passport and an ESTA approval card. ESTA applications may be submitted any time prior to travel and generally remain valid for two years.
From the South:
Travel north on Interstate 91 to Route 202 (Exit 16, Holyoke/South Hadley). Head north on 202 through Holyoke across the Connecticut River, and around the rotary to the exit marked South Hadley Center-Amherst, Route 116 north (Newton Street). Turn right at Morgan Street (flashing yellow light). JV Creighton Hall (Dormitory) is on the left (GRC signs are posted in the area).
From the North: Travel south on Interstate 91, take Exit 16, and follow the directions above.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike (East or West): Take Exit 5 (Holyoke/Chicopee) and bear to the right (do not turn left here, although the "Holyoke" sign may suggest this). At the end of the ramp, turn left on Route 33 for five miles to Route 116. Turn right onto 116 and drive approximately 1.5 miles north to the College. Turn right at Morgan Street (flashing yellow light). JV Creighton Hall (Dormitory) is on the left (GRC signs are posted in the area).

Amtrak provides service to 3 stations that are close to South Hadley:
Amtrak Northampton Station (170 Pleasant St, Northampton, MA; Phone: 800-872-7245),
Holyoke (74 Main St, Holyoke, MA), and
Springfield Station (66 Lyman St, Springfield, MA; Phone: 800-872-7245).
You can reach South Hadley by Peter Pan Bus Lines, van/car service, or taxi from the train stations. Please check their web site for more information.

Peter Pan Bus Lines offers service between Bradley Airport and Mount Holyoke College, via transfer in Springfield. They also offer service from Boston and New York City to South Hadley, with transfers in Springfield. Please call or visit their web site for schedules and rates.

Seemo Shuttle provides minivans, hybrid sedan cars and biodiesel vans between the Mount Holyoke College area and the following airports: Bradley Airport, Logan Boston, JFK and Laguardia.

Valley Transporter provides transportation between Mt. Holyoke College and Bradley Airport, Springfield Amtrak, Boston Logan Airport, Providence, and the New York airports. They can also be chartered for day trips to other destinations. Please call for reservations.

Logan Airport is located in Boston, Massachusetts and is 95 miles from Mount Holyoke College. Most major domestic and international airlines fly to BOS. Visit the Airport’s web site for a complete list of airlines. GRC provides a Chartered Bus service to our New England sites for conferees arriving here on Sundays (reservations are required).

If you need to stay overnight in Boston before or after the meeting, the Embassy Suites Boston at Logan Airport (207 Porter Street, Boston, MA) offers a discounted rate for GRC participants. The hotel is located half a mile from Logan Airport and offers a complimentary shuttle. For attendees who do not want to stay in a dormitory at Mount Holyoke College, limited hotel style housing is available at the Willits-Hallowell Conference Center. Conferees wishing to stay at the Center should make reservations directly with Mount Holyoke College (phone: 413-538-2217 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org) and register for the Conference at the off-site rate. Attendees can also reserve a room at the Center before and after the Conference. Reservations should be made as soon as possible - the Center fills up fast.
