The newly established Gordon Research Seminar on Tissue Niches and Resident Stem Cells in Adult Epithelia is designed to provide a venue for postdoctoral trainees and graduate students to openly present their research to their peers, to share and discuss unpublished data and technical breakthroughs and finally to promote a dynamic and interactive scientific community.
The topics for the GRS sessions will explore the diversity of the interactions between adult stem cells and their niche in different organs and how newly developed technologies are contributing to this dynamic field.
The seminar will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The seminar chair will select speakers from abstracts submitted by May 18, 2018. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster. In order to participate, you must submit an application by the date indicated in the Application Information section above.
