Conference Description
This conference has been deferred to 2023 due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check back soon for the 2023 schedule.
In 1993 the first meeting on the topic of wound healing took place as a GRC and has been held every two years since, evolving into the Tissue Repair and Regeneration GRC, with increasing numbers of participants and continued involvement of key scientists in this field. The international community strongly supports this conference as it always brings together world-renowned leaders and innovative rising stars. The overall aim of the 2021 meeting is to bring together a unique blend of people working on different model systems together with translational scientists, all with the one goal of understanding why some species can regenerate and others cannot. Moreover, we aim to provide insights into the underlying mechanisms of repair and regeneration that can one day be translated into advances in health care.
