Unraveling Alcohol’s Impact on Neural Function on Micro and Macro Levels

With a focus on bridging different domains of neuroscience, researchers will explore how alcohol influences the brain across multiple levels of analysis, from molecular and synaptic mechanisms to neural circuits and behavior. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, this meeting seeks to accelerate progress in understanding the neural underpinnings of alcohol’s effects on the nervous system and the development of novel technologies, therapeutic strategies, and behavioral interventions ultimately aimed at relieving suffering for those affected by alcohol use disorder.

The seminar chairs will select speakers from abstracts submitted by October 10, 2025. This is a competitive process, and selected speakers will have the opportunity to present their research to an international audience of early-career scientists.
