Conference Description
The Gordon Research Seminar on Carotenoids is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
Carotenoids and their metabolites are key biomolecules involved in photoprotection, development, and overall health in many organisms, including humans. This meeting will take an interdisciplinary approach to address how these compounds are made, what their biological functions are, and how these compounds can benefit human health.
