Conference Description

The Cell Contact and Adhesion GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.

The 2025 Cell Contact and Adhesion Gordon Research Seminar is a two-day interactive conference for trainee scientists who are unraveling the biology of cellular attachments. Particular attention will be paid to the studies investigating how cellular adhesions regulate molecular and mechanical signaling. The conference program will focus on how dysregulation of adhesion-dependent signaling impacts fundamental processes including tissue development, homeostasis, and disease.
