Conference Description
The Chemical Imaging GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
This inaugural meeting will showcase advancements in the integration and application of diverse imaging modalities utilizing spectroscopy, microscopy, electrochemistry, and mass spectrometry to explore complex chemical structures and processes. As a precursor to the Chemical Imaging GRC, the GRS will bring together young researchers in engineering, life science, medicine, and data science to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and develop a community of peers in this rapidly growing field. The program will include a keynote presentation and invited speakers selected from submitted abstracts, with a focus on research promoting the fusion of imaging modalities to expand the frontiers of biology, materials, and medicine.
All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster, so all applications must include an abstract. Discussion leaders, also chosen from among the abstract contributors, will chair each session, giving young scientists the opportunity to foster a supportive and productive environment for scientific exchange. We strongly encourage all attendees to apply for both the GRS and the following GRC.
