Conference Description
The Chemistry and Physics of Liquids GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
This seminar will delve into the intricate behaviors and interactions of liquids across a variety of systems, including confined environments, interfaces, and both biological and non-aqueous solutions. By embracing contributions from theoretical, computational, and experimental perspectives, the meeting aims to deepen our understanding of liquid interactions in both equilibrium and non-equilibrium states.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in rich discussions and present their research, with three selected poster presenters invited to give 10-minute talks during the prestigious 2025 Liquids GRC. The event will feature two keynote addresses by leading scientists, who will share cutting-edge insights into the emerging frontiers of liquid chemistry and physics, drawing from both simulation and experimental work.
Additionally, the seminar will offer a valuable mentorship component, featuring a panel of experienced professionals from academia, national laboratories, and industry. This panel aims to enrich the experiences and perspectives of graduate students and postdocs by fostering constructive dialogue and guidance from established experts in the field.
