Conference Description
The Drug Metabolism GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
This GRS will showcase breakthroughs in drug metabolism research, with special focus on translation. Sessions will build upon foundational principals and extend into novel strategies and perspectives to accelerate drug development and improve translational efforts in diverse patient populations, bringing laboratory bench and clinic closer together. Oral presentations by trainees and early-career scientists will be chosen from submitted poster abstracts, and all attendees are encouraged to present at the poster sessions. The meeting will conclude with a mentorship panel composed of scientists of varied backgrounds and career experience, an invaluable portion of each Drug Metabolism GRS.
Non-conferee guest and family accommodations at this venue are limited. To request guest/family housing, please reach out to your Conference Operations Associate.
