We wish to welcome you, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early-career investigators, to the first ever Gordon Research Seminar on IGF and Insulin System in Physiology and Disease. We invite you to this stimulating environment to exchange new ideas, learn about cutting-edge science and engage with colleagues from around the world. More importantly, the line-up of scientific talks will be spearheaded by our own young investigators, who are intimately involved in this research. Please share your exciting and innovative unpublished research on IGF and Insulin System in Physiology and Disease, as it pertains to basic and clinical research in metabolism, cancer and disease, aging, and healthy living. Our goal is to impart you with new knowledge, establish new collaborations and form life-long friendships. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
The seminar will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The seminar chair will select speakers from abstracts submitted by December 9, 2018. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster. In order to participate, you must submit an application by the date indicated in the Application Information section above.
