Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Mammalian DNA Repair is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to empower the young scientists by providing them with a framework for informal and fertile discussions among peers on their most recent research findings as well as on career paths. Scientific presentations will be at the forefront of research on mechanisms of DNA repair, cytoplasmic and nuclear DNA damage signaling and consequences on cell fate, while a career panel will bring together scientists from different backgrounds such as academia, industry, publishing/editing and entrepreneurship to share their insight regarding career development.
