The 65th annual Organic Reactions and Processes (ORP) Gordon Research Conference will assemble the leading experts in synthetic organic chemistry at Stonehill College, MA on July 21-26, 2019. The speakers will be presenting cutting-edge research in the areas of: Complex Molecule Synthesis, Photoredox Catalysis, Hypervalent Iodine Research, Process Improvements for Drug Development, Transition Metal Catalysis, Biomimetic Methods, Flow Chemistry, among other areas. The meeting sessions will feature a diverse lineup of international experts from both industry and academia. Each presentation will include open discussion among attendees to maximize understanding and conceive of new directions in the research. The tradition of vibrant and interactive Organic Reactions and Processes poster sessions is open for all attendees to present their own research and discuss recent progress with other experts. Conference applicants are encouraged to submit a poster abstract at the time of their application. A handful of poster presenters will be selected to present short talks to all the attendees on the last day of the conference. The deadline for the submission of poster abstracts is four weeks before the conference begins. This conference is annually oversubscribed, so early application is strongly encouraged.
The conference will consist of nine sessions, on the topics listed below. The conference chair is currently developing their preliminary program, which will include the names of the invited speakers and discussion leaders for each of these sessions. The preliminary program will be available by October 15, 2018. Please check back for updates.
