Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Red Cells is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

Two major aspects in the physiopathology of the red cell are the focus of this meeting: (i) the structure-function relationships that give the red cell membrane its unique properties, (ii) erythropoiesis and its regulation, in normal and disease models. The Red Cells GRS will give attendees an opportunity to present data and discuss their research as well as future career options with their peers and mentors in the field.
