Intersection of Extracellular Matrix and Clinical Pathology to Inform Tissue Engineering for Development of Molecular and Regenerative Therapies

The Gordon Research Seminar on Signal Transduction by Engineered Extracellular Matrices is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this GRS is to explore ways in which engineered matrices guide cellular behaviors, including cell fate and differentiation decisions, cell-matrix or cell-cell signaling events, and emergent behaviors, like morphogenesis, leading to higher order cell and tissue organization, both during development and in pathological disease states. Oral presentations will be selected from abstracts submitted by young investigators (students and post-docs) from disciplines including cell and developmental biology, immunology, chemistry, materials science, applied math, systems biology and bioengineering.
