Conference Description
The Chemical Separations GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program includes an array of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, concentrating on the latest developments in the field. The conference is five days long and held in a remote location to increase the sense of camaraderie and create scientific communities, with lasting collaborations and friendships. In addition to premier talks, the conference has designated time for poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for informal networking opportunities with leaders in the field.
Chemical separation science has a vital role in various aspects of our lives; it underpins numerous industrial processes involving chemical production, purification of water, air, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and biomolecules, and the production of energy and fuels to name a few. With growing interest in critical materials and recovery of precious metals from electronic devices to sustain the growing need of our modern society in energy storage, advanced coatings, and sustainable manufacturing, advanced analytical separations are sought.
The field of chemical separations is constantly evolving partly due to the increasing complexity in mixtures with the emergence of new materials and processes, and partly due to the increasing energy demands with the growing scale of production, purification, and recovery. Therefore, we invite research communities in multi-disciplines to come together for discussing synergies, exchanging ideas, establishing collaborations, and moving the needle toward developing meaningful solutions to the pressing societal challenges.
The conference chair is currently developing their preliminary program, which will include 9 sessions and the names of the invited speakers and discussion leaders for each of these sessions. The preliminary program will be available by October 14, 2026. Please check back for updates.
