The format of the program follows the long-established policies of GRCs: programmed sessions in the mornings and evenings, and afternoons free for informal discussion. Each session will have 3-5 speakers and 2 discussion co-leaders. Discussion co-leaders will be responsible for introducing their session, keeping it on schedule, and moderating the general discussion that follows each talk and at the end of the session. Discussion leaders and speakers for each session will meet ahead of time to discuss how to organize the session and come up with questions and observations to help spark discussion. The key elements in a GRC are excellent and stimulating speakers and well-run, inclusive, and animated discussions. For this reason, selection of the discussion leaders has been as careful as for the speakers.

In order to accommodate late-breaking news, we have included time for short presentations, to be selected from the poster presentations. Inclusion of these "Hot Topics" will ensure that the Program includes the most exciting discoveries. Invited talks are 20 min + 10 min discussion, with general discussion at the session end. The Opening Talk is 40 min + 10 min discussion. "Hot topics" selected from the poster presentations will be 10 min + 5 min discussion. The general discussions at the end of the session presentations will revolve around issues raised during the entire session, as well as topics prepared in advance by the Discussion Leaders. There will be two, 2-day poster sessions; the first on Monday-Tuesday; the second on Wednesday-Thursday. Each session will convene for 2 hours in the afternoon before dinner, and posters will remain up for the duration of each 2-day session.
