Fundamental Advances and New Applications

The 2010 Gordon Conference on Organometallic Chemistry will present cutting-edge research on the synthesis, structure, bonding, chemical reactivity, reaction mechanisms, and applications of organometallic compounds. The Conference will feature a wide range of topics including applications of organometallic chemistry in organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, catalysis, asymmetric catalysis, materials chemistry and biology. Additional topics will include new ligand platforms, recent advances in main group organometallic chemistry, surface organometallic chemistry, the development of sustainable energy solutions, and the discovery of new materials. The Conference will bring together a diverse group of leading investigators from academia and industry from within and from outside the field. The collegial atmosphere of this Conference, with programmed discussion sessions, poster sessions and opportunities for informal gatherings in the afternoons and evenings, will provide a dynamic setting for scientists from different disciplines to interact. All participants are encouraged to present posters. Six outstanding posters will be selected at the conference for presentation as 15-minute talks.
