The Radionuclide Theranostics for the Management of Cancer GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
This seminar will feature a range of novel interdisciplinary work, from ligand design and radiochemistry platforms, to imaging technologies and therapeutic applications. As the field continues to grow, there is increasing recognition that successful cancer therapy must go beyond tumor cell targeting alone. Strategies that incorporate insights from the tumor microenvironment – including its role in immune modulation, therapeutic resistance, and treatment efficacy – as well as rationally designed combination therapies, are of growing interest, and will be key topics of discussion. This seminar aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders in radiotheranostics by promoting creative problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
